Saint Bernard Pet Care Insect Repellent Spray
Saint Bernard Pet Care Insect Repellent Spray is a gentle spray formula designed to repel fleas, flies, mosquitos and other biting insects on dogs, horses, cattle, pigs and their environments.
Saint Bernard Pet Care Insect Repellent Spray is ideal to use on pets in areas with high numbers of biting flies, these can cause significant irritation and in some cases allergies.
What bugs are covered and why should I control them?
The spray covers all manor of biting flies, including mosquites, house flies, midges, sandflies and fleas. These can all cause irritation to your pet by biting them and causing itching. In some cases your pet can become allergic to the saliva, leading to Flea Allergic Dermatitis. Your pet can end up with other dermatitis conditions secondarily to itching and self-trauma, which can make treatment even more tricky.
If this weren’t enough, biting flies can also transmit other diseases and parasites, including Dipylidium caninum (a tapeworm) (via fleas), which can be transmitted to both your pet, or even humans and Heartworm (dirofilarial immitus) via mosquitos.
With fleas and flies what you see is not necessarily what you get. They lay eggs at a rate of knots, which fall into carpets, gaps between floorboards etc, and getting rid of them altogether can be a time-consuming process. Keeping on top of fleas before they can reproduce, and treating the environment is the key.
How does Saint Bernard Pet Care Insect Repellent work?
Saint Bernard Pet Care Insect Repellent is a quick acting spray containing Pyrethrins, Piperonyl Butoxide, N-Octylbicycloheptene Dicarboximide, Citronella Oil and Di-N-Propyl Isocinchomerate.
